In SAS Visual Data Builder, you specify a time event based on the time zone of the client. However, the time that you enter is converted to the time zone of the scheduling server. If the client and the server are in different time zones, these two times might appear to be different even though they represent the same moment in time.
For example, suppose that the time zone of the scheduling server is (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)
and the time zone of the client is (UTC+09:00) Seoul
. In the New Time Event dialog box, you schedule the query for October 31, 2015, at 12:05. SAS Visual Data Builder converts this time to Pacific Time. In Pacific Time, October 31, 2015, at 12:05 is equivalent to October 30, 2015, at 20:05.
