Problem Note 54915: An abend might occur when you are accessing a SASĀ® Scalable Performance Data Server table on a Linux x64 system
A segmentation violation abend might occur when you are running an SQL procedure query. The problem occurs when the following conditions exist:
- A SAS Scalable Performance Data Server table is being accessed with the LIBNAME engine
- SAS is running under Linux x64
- The query contains a function that is not supported by SAS Scalable Performance Data Server
The error might look similar to the following:
ERROR: sqlplan internal error: Cannot find symbol newvar1, var=1, tag=0001.
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
