Problem Note 54800: A drastic increase in time between job submission and job start occurs when large numbers of jobs are submitted
When many jobs are submitted to the Load Sharing Facility (LSF) or the SAS® Grid in a short time, the time between job dispatch and job start might seem to grow exponentially, to the point where job submission seems to hang. If the job is a grid–launched workspace server, the SAS object spawner might time out before the job has started. The issue can degrade to the point where one or more of the "hung" jobs have to be killed by LSF before new jobs can start.
