Problem Note 54668: Extensions.dtd is not in sync with Extensions.xml and validation fails

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS® OpRisk VaR, when reloading extensions from the SAS® Management Console, the following warning is generated:

WARNING: DOCTYPE element encountered. The SAS XML Libname Engine does not support processing
of Data Type Definitions (DTD). External entity references in the document will not be resolved,
and no mark up validation will be performed.
You can safely ignore this warning because there is no actual validation of the XML file against the DTD file during application execution.

However, the Extensions.dtd file that is shipped with the product is not in sync with the Extensions.xml that is used in the product. Consequently, the DTD file cannot be used with any external tool, such as the one that is provided at http://xmlvalidation.com, for example, to reliably validate a modified XML file.
