A segmentation violation error might occur if the following conditions are met:

• Multiple users access the same SAS^® Scalable Performance Data Server table.
• The table is open in Edit mode using the FSEDIT procedure.
• The LOCKING=YES option is specified in the LIBNAME statement for the table.
