Problem Note 54050: You cannot preview a scheduled ASP-type broadcast in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio
You cannot preview a scheduled ASP-type broadcast from the list of broadcasts or from the Scheduling tab in SAS Digital Marketing Studio.
When you right-click a broadcast, select Preview, and enter the preview number, the following error is displayed:
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
java.rmi.RemoteException: no protocol:
On the Scheduling tab, when you right-click the broadcast and select Preview, you are prompted to specify an email address for broadcast preview. Instead, the prompt should ask for a Preview Number, because this broadcast is an ASP-type broadcast.
When you enter a mobile telephone number, the following error is displayed:
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
java.rmi.RemoteException: no protocol:
You can work around this issue by generating the preview from the Edit Content page in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio. To do so, select Actions ► Preview.
