Problem Note 54858: The SAS® Anti-Money Laundering FCF_ROUTE.SAS macro might generate duplicate alert records when AUTOROUTE2CURRENTINVESTIGATOR is set to "true"
The FCF_ROUTE.SAS macro might generate duplicate alert records when the SAS® macro variable AUTOROUTE2CURRENTINVESTIGATOR is set to true in the autoexec.sas file. This problem occurs when there are multiple, existing, active alerts for the same entity and scenario for an owner.
These duplicate records are stored in the WORK.INVESTIGATOR SAS data set. When WORK.INVESTIGATOR is automatically merged later with the WORK.ROUTED_ALERTS data set, the following messages appear in the SAS log:
NOTE: MERGE statement has more than one data set with repeats of BY values.
NOTE: There were 32851 observations read from the data set WORK.INVESTIGATOR.
NOTE: There were 2945 observations read from the data set WORK.ROUTED_ALERTS.
NOTE: The data set MST_ALER.ROUTED_ALERTS has 12011 observations and 25
variables.
The duplicate records trigger unique database constraints, which can cause the alert-generation process to fail.
