When you use the SASEXFSD, SASEFRED, or SASEQUAN LIBNAME engines that are provided with SAS/ETS^® software, an error message similar to the following might be generated if values in the LIBNAME statement options or the directory path contain blanks:

ERROR:  An exception has been encountered. 
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information:

ERROR:  Read Access Violation

The LIBNAME engine also fails to access the data when this problem occurs.

To circumvent the problem, specify the option or directory path without the embedded blanks.
