Problem Note 53903: Migration fails and the message "error getting text store: null" is generated when you upgrade SAS® 9.2 Management Console by migrating to SAS® 9.4

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you update SAS 9.2 Management Console by migrating to SAS® 9.4, the migration process stops responding and fails with the following error message:

     [echo] Found metadata count: 3
     [echo] Name: Management Console 9.2
[echo] Name: Mgmt Console Server Data 9.2

The SAS®: 9.2 Metadata Repository does not have a text store (noTextStore.png) to update with the new release number. SAS 9.4 expects the software components to have the text stores. As a result, the SAS® 9.2 metadata returns a null value, which cause the software to stop responding during migration.
