Problem Note 53969: A risk analysis project that uses a REMOTE LIBNAME engine fails with the message, "ERROR: Invalid or inconsistent mode flags for XXXXX.XXXXXXXX.DATA."
When you run a risk analysis project in SAS® Risk Dimensions® that uses the REMOTE engine for a SAS library, a message similar to the following might occur in the SAS log:
ERROR: Invalid or inconsistent mode flags for XXXXX.XXXXXXXX.DATA.
Also, the RISK procedure (PROC RISK) step fails to complete. This issue occurs because there is a problem with how SAS Risk Dimensions accesses data sets that use the REMOTE LIBNAME engine.
There is no workaround for this issue.
