Problem Note 53193: False response tables are generated in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio when new content is created for a broadcast

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Digital Marketing Studio, false response tables are generated when new content is created for a broadcast.

This occurs when the advanced server property, MaxResponseTables, is blank, to allow the manual creation of response tables. In SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio, the business context setting for the response table prefix is blank, to allow for the manual entry of the response table name.

You might see this issue if you take the following steps:

  1. In SAS Digital Marketing Studio, right-click an existing broadcast and select Define New Content.
  2. Choose new content for the broadcast or leave this as the original content.
  3. As you step through the Define New Content Wizard, the Tracking page shows you a new and random response table name (for example, "pa"). This new response table name is unavailable and cannot be edited.
  4. Continue through the wizard.
  5. Execute the broadcast.
  6. The response table that is updated with responses is the correct, original table that was identified when the broadcast was first created. However, an additional table (for example, "pa") is incorrectly created in the response table database.
