Problem Note 52831: Running the migration scripts for the common data model in SAS® Marketing Automation 6.1 and 6.3 might result in errors

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Running the migration scripts for the common data model in SAS Marketing Automation 6.1 and 6.3 might result in different errors. Errors occur as a result of the following issues:

  1. The password of the common data model schema needs to be enclosed in single quotation marks (' '). If a password is enclosed in double quotations marks (" "), one of the macros fails with an error because it tries to use a quoted string that contains the quoted password. A note is added at the top of the ci_cdm_migrate_to_61_oracle.sas script, stating the need for single quotation marks.
  2. There is an incomplete statement in the migration script. See the link below for the corrected scripts.
  3. The script does not work when the _EXT tables do not have any data.

You might see the following error message in the ci_cdm_migration.log:

MPRINT(EXTMIGRATE):   filename tempfile clear;
NOTE: Fileref TEMPFILE has been deassigned.
MPRINT(EXTMIGRATE):   PROC SQL NOERRORSTOP;
MPRINT(EXTMIGRATE):   CREATE TABLE CICDM.MIG_CI_CAMPAIGN_EXT AS (SELECT * FROM WORK.OUTPUT_TABLE);
ERROR: File WORK.OUTPUT_TABLE.DATA does not exist.
MPRINT(EXTMIGRATE):   QUIT;
NOTE: PROCEDURE SQL used (Total process time):
      real time           0.00 seconds
      cpu time            0.00 seconds

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Note: To work around the issue, download and extract the contents of the migrationscripts.zip file and run the corrected scripts.
