Problem Note 52659: In SAS® Web Report Studio, using the date picker for a prompt might generate an "invalid response" error when the browser language is not English
If your browser is not set to English, then SAS Web Report Studio might display errors when you attempt to use the date picker for a prompt. Specifically, this problem has been reported when the following conditions are true:
- The date picker is associated with a datetime prompt.
- The prompt is defined in a stored process that is associated with an information map.
- The browser is set to a language that uses a 24-hour clock such as French and Italian.
As a workaround, you can change the browser to English.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix to the 4.4_M1 release, you can set a new property that supports a 24-hour clock for the date picker. Beginning with release 4.4_M2, this property is available without a hot fix.
- In SAS® Management Console, select Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► SAS Application Infrastructure.
- Right-click Web Report Studio 4.x, and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
- Click Add to open the Define New Property dialog box.
- For the Property Name, enter wrs.honor24HourLocaleForPrompts
- For the Property Value, enter
true
- Click OK twice to exit both dialog boxes and save the changes.
- Restart your web application server to enforce the new setting.
