Problem Note 52637: SAS® Enterprise Guide® 5.1 and 6.1 stop responding when you are typing code, especially in virtual environments

When you use the 64-bit version of SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 or 6.1, you might notice delays when you are entering code in the Enhanced Editor window. High CPU utilization might also be recorded during this delay.
The problem occurs when the Autocomplete feature is enabled.
To temporarily work around this issue, disable the Autocomplete feature, as follows. In the Enhanced Editor Options dialog box, click the Autocomplete tab and clear the Enable Autocomplete check box.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the 5.1 or 6.1 hot fix for this issue.
