Problem Note 52352: Formulas in Excel are not recalculated automatically when you update sheets with the EXPORT procedure and DBMS=XLSX in SAS® 9.3 and SAS® 9.4

When you update an Excel spreadsheet with the EXPORT procedure in SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.4, formulas are not recalculated automatically when the file is opened in Excel.

You can force recalculations with the following key combinations in Excel:

  • Alt-Ctrl-F9:              Calculations in current sheet are updated
  • Shift-Alt-Ctrl-F9:     Calculations in all sheets are updated
