Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
By applying the hot fix, you can resolve the problem in either a migration or an update-in-place situation. Steps for both situations follow below. Choose the set of steps that apply to your situation.
Migration:
- Run the SAS Deployment Wizard and select Install SAS Software only.
- Back up the forecastsvr_config.xml file that resides in SASHOME\SASForecastServerMidTier\13.1\Config\. Rename the backed up file ( for example, forecastsvr_config.orig.xml).
- Back up the tsxmid_config.xml file that resides in SASHOME\SASTimeSeriesStudioMidTier\13.1\Config\. Rename the backed up file ( for example, tsxmid_config.orig.xml).
- Launch the SAS® Deployment Manager and install the hot fixes that are available on the Hot Fix tab.
- Run the SAS Deployment Wizard again. This time, select Configure SAS Software only. Then perform the migration as usual.
Update in Place:
- Apply the hot fixes that are listed on the Hot Fix tab in this note.
- Run the SAS Deployment Wizard. The deployment wizard installs and starts the configuration process.
- At a certain point, the wizard prompts you for a metadata password. Before you enter the password and continue the deployment, do the following:
- Back up the forecastsvr_config.xml file that resides in SASHOME\SASForecastServerMidTier\13.1\Config\. Rename the backed up file ( for example, forecastsvr_config.orig.xml).
- Back up the tsxmid_config.xml file that resides in SASHOME\SASTimeSeriesStudioMidTier\13.1\Config\. Rename the backed up file ( for example, tsxmid_config.orig.xml).
- Launch the SAS® Deployment Manager and install the hot fixes that are available on the Hot Fix tab.
- Enter the metadata password and continue the process. Then perform the rest of update-in-place process, as usual.
