Problem Note 52029: The OUT2= option in the CONTENTS procedure incorrectly generates a data set with one observation when no indexes exist on the input data set
A data set containing one observation might be incorrectly generated when the OUT2= option is specified in the PROC CONTENTS statement. This problem is most likely to occur when no indexes exist on the input data set.
To circumvent this problem, add the WHERE= option after the OUT2= data set name to remove observations that do not have a valid LIBNAME value. Below is sample code that illustrates the syntax.
proc contents data=a out2=b(where=(libname^=''));
run;
