Usage Note 51627: How to specify when a change reason is required for incidents in SAS® Enterprise GRC

You can specify that a change reason prompt is not displayed if you edit an incident without changing it, or if you send an incident for validation.

Use the following new configuration property to specify that a change reason prompt is not displayed if you click Save or Apply without making any changes to an incident:

monitor.incident.saveApplyForNoChangeEvent.changeReason.required = false

Use the following new configuration property to specify that a change reason prompt is not displayed if you send an incident for validation:

monitor.incident.sendForValidationForNoChangeEvent.changeReason.required = false

The new configuration properties are available after you apply the hot fix.
