Problem Note 50869: A validation error occurs when you add date fields in SAS® Customer Intelligence 6.1
When you use the Calender icon to add a date field in SAS Customer Intelligence, the following error occurs:
This error happens regardless of where you use the Calendar icon in SAS Customer Intelligence because an incorrect sas.ci.shell.swf file is delivered in the hot fix package K77001.
Note: For SAS Customer Intelligence 6.1 GA, follow these steps to work around the problem:
- Find the location where sas.custintellstudio6.1.ear is deployed:
WebServer-installdir\SASServer6\deploy_sas\sas.custintellstudio6.1.ear\sas.ci.shell.war
- Unzip cishell.zip and extract the
sas.ci.shell.swf file to the following location:
WebServer-installdir\SASServer6\deploy_sas\sas.custintellstudio6.1.ear\sas.ci.shell.war
There is no need to rebuild the web application. Just restart SASServer6.
Verify the following:
- The incorrect sas.ci.shell.swf has a size of 5 MB.
- The correct sas.ci.shell.swf file (attached) has a size of approximately 6 MB.
Note: The sas.ci.shell.swf file will NOT work for the first maintenance release for SAS Customer Intelligence 6.1 (M1).
