Problem Note 50768: Related entities queries might return incorrect results in the SAS® Anti-Money Laundering UI

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The related entities query from a Customer Details screen might return incorrect results when multiple requests for related entities are being processed at the same time.

The related entity queries use a global variable for the customer number. This means that if User A issues a related entities request, and while this is still in progress User B also issues a related entities request, parts of the first request will actually be for the wrong customer.

This can result in the following issues:

  1. Supposedly related entities are returned that actually are not related.
  2. Non-related entities are returned instead of related entities.
  3. The results that are returned are not repeatable. This occurs because a request might subsequently run unaffected or be overlapped by a request for related entities for a third customer.
