Problem Note 50578: Data cannot be written to the Netezza library if the BULKUNLOAD=YES option is specified in the library and the table names contain DBCS characters
When you are using SAS® 9.3 TS1M1 on an AIX 6.1 system, SAS® Enterprise Guide® might stop responding if you attempt to open a Netezza table. The problem occurs when you attempt to open a Netezza table that contains Japanese characters in the table name and the BULKUNLOAD=YES option is specified for the Netezza library.
Use the following workarounds:
-
Do not use BULKUNLOAD=YES in the Netezza LIBNAME statement.
-
Use SAS on the Windows operating system instead of the AIX operating system.
-
If you use the BULKUNLOAD=YES option, also use the BL_DATAFILE= option.
