Problem Note 50374: PROC METALIB fails to properly assign the MemberType attribute when it registers a new SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server table in metadata
When you use the METALIB procedure to register a new table or view in a SAS Scalable Performance Data Server library, the procedure fails to set the MemberType attribute for the object. The member type is left blank when it should be set to either DATA or VIEW. This problem also occurs when you use SAS® Management Console or SAS® Data Integration Studio to update the metadata.
To circumvent the problem, you can manually edit the MemberType and enter the correct value by opening the object's properties in SAS Management Console. Alternatively, you can use the SAS Management Console Register Tables wizard to register the new table or view instead of using PROC METALIB.
