Problem Note 50183: Selecting products gives an "error occurred in SAS Merchandise Intelligence ..." error, ObjectNotFoundException

When using SAS® Promotion Optimization, the following error message might be displayed. The error occurs when you create a promotion by product, and select more than 1000 products.

An error occurred in SAS Merchandise Intelligence.
Restart or Exit the application.
A detailed error message is displayed when you click Show Details.

To workaround is to select an objective scope before you add the products to the plan.
