Problem Note 49957: SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager cannot publish new scoring models without restarting the SAS® Federation Server

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

SAS Real-Time Decision Manager stores its DS2 code for scoring models in a data source in the SAS Federation Server. When you attempt to publish new or updated models, the SAS Federation Server might fail to perform the update. When this problem occurs, the SAS Federation Server records the following error:

2013-10-29T11:04:43,443 ERROR [00004223] App.Statement.Statement.ExecuteWithRowCount 78:fedadmin - 76;
fedadmin; 1.1.1; T_BIND, _C_DEFAULT: Unsupported SQL type: -8. 2013-10-29T11:04:43,443
ERROR [00004223] App.Statement.Statement.ExecuteWithRowCount 78:fedadmin - 76; fedadmin; 1.1.1;
T_EXECUTE: Internal failure encountered: BIND FAILURE.

The SAS Decision Services Engine Server log also records an error when this problem occurs:

2013-10-29 11:04:42,056 DEBUG  com.sas.analytics.ph.common.session.PFSHelper -
Exception in isOK method of session factory - continuing java.rmi.NoSuchObjectException: no such object
in table
...

There is no workaround for this problem other than to restart the SAS Federation Server when you want to update the scoring models.
