Problem Note 48941: The METALIB procedure produces a segmentation violation error when you update SASĀ® metadata for a Sybase IQ table
PROC METALIB causes a segmentation violation error when you update the SAS metadata for a Sybase IQ table. This issue occurs when you are using the Sybase IQ client version 15.3 and Sybase IQ server version 15.4.

Segmentation Violation
The problem occurs when a primary key is defined on one of the Sybase IQ table columns. The Sybase IQ driver provides an incorrect result set for a SQLForeignKey() application programming interface (API).
A possible workaround is to use Sybase IQ driver version 15.1.
