Problem Note 47910: Functional issues that are addressed in Hot Fix H77004 for SASĀ® Activity-Based Management 7.2
Hot Fix H77004 provides corrections for functional issues that are identified in the 7.2 release of SAS Activity-Based Management.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access this hot fix.
The hot fix addresses the following functional issues:
- Generating large fact tables might take significantly longer than in prior releases of SAS Activity-Based Management configurations using an Oracle database server.
- Long-running operations might fail with the error "java.rmi.NoSuchObjectException: no such object in table".
- Operations for generating multiple cubes simultaneously for the same model might fail with the error "Errors in the metadata manager. No dimension relationships exist within the [measure group name string] measure group." This error occurs in configurations that use Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services for OLAP.
- When an operation produces large numbers of errors or warnings, there can be a long delay in displaying operations summaries after the operation reaches 100% completion.
- The operation to generate a multi-stage contributions OLAP cube can fail if a stage is omitted from the cube configuration.
- Running model calculations with driver rules disabled might exclude the costs for assignments that were previously created by driver rules.< /li>
- Model calculation can take abnormally long to complete if there are large numbers of errors or warnings.
- Model calculations might take progressively longer to complete if they are run repeatedly on a model that uses driver rules.
- The operation to generate a multi-stage contributions fact table might fail if a previous fact table operation was canceled.
- A multi-stage contributions OLAP cube generated from a cube configuration that excludes some members of a dimension might omit some of the members that are not excluded.
- Model calculation might fail with a "CLI execute" error on a SAS Activity-Based Management configuration using DataDirect drivers to connect to an Oracle database server.
- The operation to generate an OLAP cube might fail for certain models whose dimensions have ragged hierarchies.
- An account search might omit some valid results.
- Negative values for Total Driver Quantity UE (user entered) might cause import errors.
- When an OLAP fact table is generated, the operation summary might not include the PROC ABC statement.
- Although the operation to generate an OLAP cube completes successfully, that cube might not be listed in the Select Cube list of the New OLAP View wizard.
- The operation to generate an OLAP cube might fail with an error that contains the statement "Invalid object name" followed by a name value similar to 'dbo.M1000_DM1234_C1234567'.
- On SAS Activity-Based Management configurations that use SQL Server Analysis Services as the OLAP server, the operation to generate an OLAP cube might fail with the error "Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key cannot be found".
- Executing a cube configuration in Count Rows mode might fail with the error "table or view does not exist."
- The operation to generate an OLAP cube might fail with the error "Errors in the OLAP storage engine: A duplicate attribute key has been found."
- Exporting model data to Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access files on the client host computer might fail on the first attempt with "unspecified error" but succeed on the second attempt.
- In environments that use the comma (,) as the decimal character, importing staging table data from Microsoft Access might fail with the error "java.lang.NumberFormatException."
- Cost flow settings that were changed from the default values during the creation of a multi-stage contributions cube configuration show the default values if the cube configuration is reopened for editing.
- The Survey Export wizard only allows filters to be added to the ValueAttribute and ValueAttributeAssociation tables.
