Problem Note 47292: An error occurs when saving a global calculated item in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio

When you are saving a global calculated data item in SAS Customer Intelligence, the following error occurs:
Customer Intelligence Studio has encountered a problem. Save all campaigns and diagrams. If customer Intelligence Studio still does not respond, contact your system administrator. com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.ApplicationException: ServiceException in MASmartObjectIO:saveObject at com.sas.analytics.crm.persistence.metadata.MASmartObjectIO.saveObject(MASmartObjectIO.java:260) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.server.UnicastServerRef.dispatch(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.transport.Transport$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at sun.rmi.transport.Transport.serviceCall(Unknown Source)
This error occurs under the following conditions:
- You renamed the calculated data item.
- You are saving the data item to a different category.
- That category already contains a calculated data item that has the same name as the original name of the calculated data item that you are saving.
