Problem Note 46889: The SAS/CONNECT® PC Spawner program fails with the error "Thread pthread has been terminated due to an unhandled exception"

The following error messages might occur when running the SAS/CONNECT PC Spawner program for SAS® release 9.2(TS2M3).
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred.
ERROR: Cannot read TCP socket. System message
ERROR: Cannot read TCP socket. System message
The Windows Event Viewer log reports these errors:
ERROR: Thread pthread has been terminated due to an unhandled exception.
ERROR: The operating system exception code is 0xc0000005
ERROR: The operating system exception code is 0xc0000005
The messages occur when you have applied Hot Fix B25187 and you have signed on to the spawner program multiple times.
There is currently no circumvention.
