The SAS OLAP Server might stop responding after a client attempts to cancel a query that is running on the SAS OLAP Server. Cancellation methods that can cause this behavior include closing the browser window in SAS® Web Report Studio instead of logging off, and pressing CTRL+C before results are returned.

When the server stops responding, you might see an error similar to the following in the SAS OLAP server log file:

     ERROR: Critical TK KERNEL error

To restore functionality, restart the SAS OLAP server.
