Problem Note 46351: Interrupting a query being processed on a SAS® server sometimes causes SAS® Web Report Studio to stop responding

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Web Report Studio, if a query being processed on a SAS server is interrupted, SAS Web Report Studio might stop responding if the connection to the server remains active. This problem is more likely to occur when queries are interrupted on the SAS® OLAP Server.

When this situation exists, you might see an error similar to the following when you attempt to open the same or a new report:

An error occurred in processing the report element. Refresh the page to
try again. Contact your administrator if this problem persists.

Other errors that reference waiting or stuck threads might appear in the SAS Web Report Studio and web application server logs.

To restore functionality, restart the web application server.

To prevent this issue, upgrade to the latest release of SAS Web Report Studio.
