The SAS® Pack Optimization mid-tier might generate a Java out of memory error similar to the one that follows:
[WebContainer : 120-6256] RROR [] com.sas.solutions.di.server - Exception thrown during the invocation of method getPurchaseOrders. java.lang.OutOfMemoryError at com.sas.rio.RIOUtil.getColumnInfo(RIOUtil.java:817) at com.sas.rio.MVARowCache.init(MVARowCache.java:1878) at com.sas.rio.MVARowCache.(MVARowCache.java:209) at com.sas.rio.MVAResultSet. (MVAResultSet.java:389) at com.sas.rio.MVAStatement.executeQuery(MVAStatement.java:579) at com.sas.rio.MVAPreparedStatement.executeQuery(MVAPreparedStatement.java:104)
This error occurs because the list of purchase order plans is loaded into memory before being filtered by your permission scope. If you turn off filtering all plans will be loaded into memory, which might cause an out of memory condition.
There is no workaround for this issue.
