Problem Note 46047: You cannot log on to the SAS® Enterprise GRC Web application, a "Received unexpected output from user synchronization job" error appears

If you run a synchronization job from the SAS Enterprise GRC Web application, then you might encounter an error message like this one:
Received unexpected output from user synchronization job.
If you ran the synchronization job manually, then there might be a message in the SAS log:
An error has occurred.
After the synchronization job fails, it is possible that you are no longer be able to log on to the SAS Enterprise GRC Web application.
The only workaround is to restore your SAS metadata from a backup copy.
