Problem Note 46938: SAS® 9.2 SAS® Management Console can connect to a SAS® 9.3 SAS® Management Console profile
If SAS® 9.2 and SAS® 9.3 are installed on the same machine and the connection profile is never renamed for SAS® Management Console, the SAS® 9.2 Management Console could mistakenly use the SAS® 9.3 Metadata Server environment.
From SAS® 9.2 Management Console, you could possibly select a SAS® 9.3 connection profile to connect to the 9.3 Metadata Server environment instead of selected the intended SAS 9.2 Metadata Server environment connection profile.
Currently, there is no circumvention for this issue.
