Problem Note 46251: Directories cannot be created under the Files folder in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
You might not be able to create directories under the Files folder in SAS Enterprise Guide. Attempting to create a folder results in the following error:
Error] Physical file does not exist
The problem occurs because an environment variable is used in the path of the Workspace Server's file navigation setting.
You can view or modify the Workspace Server's file navigation settings by following these steps:
- In SAS® Management Console, locate the Server Manager plug-in and expand
SASApp - Logical Workspace Server ► SASApp - Workspace Server.
- Right-click and select Properties.
- Select the Options tab.
- Click the Advanced Options button.
- Select the File Navigation tab.
- After modifying the File Navigation setting, click OK to save the changes.
