Problem Note 45369: "Utility file open failed" might appear when attempting to build a SAS® OLAP cube

When creating a SAS OLAP cube, the following error might occur:
ERROR: Utility file open failed.
Typically, this error means that SAS has run out of space while building the temporary tables that are used to construct the cube. However, this error might be returned even if the temporary work space has adequate space and the page size option for the operating system is greater than 4K.
If you have confirmed that space is not an issue, then contact SAS Technical Support for assistance.
