Usage Note 45727: You cannot use DNS names or UNC paths when specifying the path to log files in the Client Settings tab
In SAS® Merchandise Planning, you cannot use DNS names or UNC paths when specifying the path to log files in the Client Settings tab of the Preferences window. If you do specify a DNS name or UNC path as the path to log files in the Client Settings tab, the following actions might fail:
- submit
- export to Excel
- print
- print preview
As a workaround, you can map a drive to the specified location and then use the mapped drive value for the path to the log files. For example, you can specify s:\ as the path to log file in the Client Settings tab of the Preferences window where s:\ is a mapped drive.
