When you execute a performance monitoring report in SAS® Model Manager, you might get the following java error:
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1 java.lang.String.substring(Unknown Source) com.sas.analytics.app.mds.actions.dialog.ExecuteScorePerformanceAction.process (ExecuteScorePerformanceAction.java:228) com.sas.analytics.app.mds.actions.dialog.ExecuteScorePerformanceAction.initDialogAction (ExecuteScorePerformanceAction.java:124) com.sas.analytics.avp.actions.dialog.DialogAction.performExecute(DialogAction.java:84) com.sas.analytics.avp.actions.AppAction.doPerformExecute(AppAction.java:59) com.sas.analytics.avp.actions.AppAction.execute(AppAction.java:101) com.sas.analytics.avp.actions.AppAction.actionPerformed(AppAction.java:54) ...
The java exception occurs because the library that contains the performance monitoring data sets was set up in SAS Management Console with the option "Library is Pre-assigned" checked.
To work around the error, clear the "Library is Pre-Assigned" box in SAS Management Console.
