Usage Note 44810: Applying a hot fix that contains updates for multiple operating systems displays all operating systems during installation
SAS® 9.3 hot fixes may contain updates for multiple operating systems. When applying these hot fixes, all operating systems are displayed in the SAS Install Tool window as shown here
The Install Tool will apply the updates appropriate for only the operating system on which the hot fix is being applied. The following message will appear for the other operating systems
This hot fix can not be applied on the current platform
as shown here
