Installation Note 44145: Specifying SAS environment URL settings during a SAS® 9.3 installation

During a SAS 9.3 installation, a SAS environment URL dialog box might appear if the initial values are undefined.
When this dialog box appears, enter values for the SAS environment URL settings. The values should be in the following form:
http://hostname:port/SASLogon/sas-environment.xml
For hostname, use the fully qualified hostname of your machine, and for port, use the default port for your Web application server. For example, if you are using JBoss, you might enter values similar to the following:
http://my_hostname.sas.com:8080/SASLogon/sas-environment.xml
If your Web application server is WebLogic, use port 7001.
If your Web application server is WebSphere, use port 9080.
The sas-environment.xml file resides on an HTTP server, but the configuration in the file refers to the Web application servers and their port numbers.
