Usage Note 43707: SAS 9.3 Basic Cartridge Installation require hot fixes to be installed with the -NOBJOBSUBMIT option

If you attempt to install a hot fix to a SAS 9.3 Basic Cartridge Installation, you must invoke the hot fix installation tool with the -nojobsubmit option. Here is an example of the syntax:
sashf.rexx -nojobsubmit
Also, if you do not want to invoke the hot fix installation tool in Graphical User Interface (GUI) mode, which requires an X11 server, use the -silent option. Here is an example of the syntax:
sashf.rexx -silent -nojobsubmit
