Problem Note 43459: You can incorrectly create a Suspicious Activity Report including suspects that do not have a specified relationship to the financial institution
In SAS® Enterprise Case Management, you can incorrectly create a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) that includes suspects that do not have a specified relationship to the financial institution.
On the SAR tab for a case, in the Suspect Information section, you can add a suspect to the case by clicking Add Suspect. In the Add Suspect screen, you can enter and save the suspect's information without adding a relationship to the financial institution. A missing relationship might lead the governing authority (to which you submitted the SAR) to reject it.
There is no error, warning, or note message indicating that a problem occurred. The only workaround is to remember to specify a relationship to the financial institution for each suspect, even though the SAS Enterprise Case Management web application does not require a relationship.
