Problem Note 42579: The rearrange partitions job fails with a "lock is not available for <table name> ..." error

While loading data into SAS® High-Performance Markdown Optimization, an error message might be displayed in one or more of the DI_ETL_Rearrange_partitions.log..di_etl_rearrange_tables.<unit>.log files:
ERROR: A lock is not available for <table name>
The lock might not be available for one of the following tables in either FROM_LIB or TO_LIB:
- COST_FACT_CURRENT.DATA
- DOW_SALES_FACT.DATA
- INVENTORY_FACT.DATA
- PRICE_FACT_CURRENT.DATA
- PRICE_FACT_HISTORY.DATA
- PROMOTION_FACT.DATA
- SALES_FACT.DATA
The workaround for this issue is to split DI_ETL_Rearrange_partitions into its own job. At the beginning of the job, change the global setting NUM_PARALLEL_EXECUTIONS to 1. At the end of the job, change the global setting NUM_PARALLEL_EXECUTIONS back to its original value.
