Problem Note 42472: SQL Pass-through extensions COPY TABLE and LOAD TABLE are not supported between SPD Server domains that have different backup attributes

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The SQL Pass-through extensions COPY TABLE and LOAD TABLE in SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server® have been modified to check for backup attributes of source/target LIBNAME domains (LIBNAME domain option BACKUP=YES/NO). The operation is not allowed with different backup attributes (BACKUP=YES vs. BACKUP=NO).

After you have applied hot fix B57004, available via the Hot Fix tab of this note, an attempt to use COPY TABLE or LOAD TABLE results in the following error:

   execute(copy table bkup.target_table from nobkup.source_table) by sasspds;

   SPDS_ERROR: Not supported for domains with different BACKUP attributes.
   ERROR: SPDS Sql Passthru Error.

Note: In addition to Fixed Releases identified below, Release 4.4TSM13 provides this fix.
