Problem Note 42027: An incident has a status of "Fully Validated" but its financial effect has a status of "Not Submitted"

After an incident with an associated financial effect is validated in SAS® OpRisk Monitor or SAS® Enterprise GRC, a status is displayed. However, the associated financial effect status might incorrectly have a status of "Not Submitted" The status is displayed even though the incident correct status is "Fully Validated". The incorrect status appears if there is no user workflow defined for financial effects, and if the following sequence of events occurs:
- The incident is sent for validation.
- The validator returns the incident instead of validating it.
- The incident's financial effect is modified.
- The incident is sent for validation a second time.
- The validator validates the incident.
There are no error, warning, or note messages indicating that a problem occurred.
To work around the problem, submit the incident for validation again. Resubmitting causes both the incident and its associated financial effect to have a status of "Fully Validated". This workaround fixes the problem only if there is no user workflow defined for financial effects. If there is a user workflow defined for financial effects, then that workflow must be followed before the financial effect can become "Fully Validated".
