Problem Note 41621: Selecting "Save as HTML" does not save the data set in the redirected folder and SAS® might terminate unexpectedly

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS 9.2, selecting Save as HTML might not work as expected if you type a filename before you select the output location. For example, this problem occurs when you perform the following tasks:

  1. Invoke SAS 9.2.
  2. Open a SAS data set (for example, click Libraries ► Sashelp ► Class).
  3. Select File ► Save as HTML.
  4. Type the filename (for example, Filename: classhtml).
  5. Change the designated output folder name via the Save in menu (for example, c:\temp)
  6. Click Save.

If you look in the c:\temp folder, you see that the file classhtml.html does not exist.

As a workaround, first change the output directory location and then enter the filename.

A hotfix is planned for this issue.
