Problem Note 41588: User names that include parentheses might cause errors in SAS® Information Delivery Portal

If your user name contains parentheses, you might encounter a couple of different issues in the Portal.

  • You might have problems when sharing content in the Portal. For example, if you attempt to unshare an existing page, you might see the following exception in the browser.

    A serious error occurred. Contact the portal administrator.

  • When viewing one of the SAS BI Portlets, you might see the following message.

    We're sorry.  The portlet you've requested cannot be displayed.
