Problem Note 41318: Manually linking a program node to a table defined in metadata might generate an error in SAS® Enterprise Guide®

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Enterprise Guide, if your program node references a table that is defined in metadata, and you manually link that table to the program node in the process flow, then running the program might result in the following error:

ERROR: Invalid option value 'SAS Library Name' for SAS option _LAST_.

This error is most likely to occur if the library definition contains spaces or other special characters.

The error does not prevent the code from running and creating the correct output.

Currently, there are two ways to prevent the error:

  • Rename the library and remove any spaces or special characters.
  • Remove the manual link.
