Sample 41168: Learning how to create indicators using SAS® BI Dashboard 4.3
Overview
SAS BI Dashboard enables users to create, maintain, and view dashboards to monitor key performance. This SAS Note provides a starting point to access information and samples that will help you use version 4.3, which is completely new software.
Before you begin
Organize BI Dashboard content by creating the folder structure described in Creating the folder structure used by the SAS BI Dashboard 4.3 samples. The instructions for all of the samples refer to a specific folder name when accessing or saving content.
Indicator data objects and ranges used by the indicator samples
Each indicator sample contains a link to the instructions for creating the indicator data object and range used in the sample. However, as a best practice, you should create the indicator data object and range before creating the indicator. In this way, you will not have to switch between samples. Use the following links to directly access the indicator data object and range samples.
Indicator samples
The goal of each indicator sample is to demonstrate how indicator display types are impacted by the design of their associated indicator data objects. Each sample also shows how you can change the indicator display by modifying some indicator and dashboard properties.
For the list of indicator samples, see Overview of SAS BI Dashboard 4.3 indicator samples.
