Usage Note 40916: The read timeout is limited to 30 seconds when you use the SAS® 9.2 SOAP procedure with the Axis2 engine

When you use PROC SOAP with the Axis2 engine, the current read timeout is limited to 30 seconds. This amount of time is not long enough to allow for medium and long-running Web services calls.

This hot fix adds a timeout option to PROC SOAP. With the TIMEOUT= option, you can specify the number of seconds before timing out. For example, to set a timeout of 100 seconds, use TIMEOUT=100 in your PROC SOAP statement.
