In SAS Enterprise Guide, the Schedule Project task generates a .vbs file that will run your project in batch at the time and interval specified in the Schedule Task. This process, along with the generated .vbs code, is called SAS Enterprise Guide Automation.
Note: To access the Schedule Product task, select File ► Schedule Project.
SAS Enterprise Guide Automation coding enables you to build a VBScript (.vbs) to execute an entire project or just specific elements of a project. You can then use the Windows Scheduler Task to schedule your .vbs to execute at a time or an interval that you specify.
This sample contains several complete examples of using SAS Enterprise Guide Automation.
